The St Ives Basketball Club in Pymble has 5,000 reasons to celebrate the New Year as one of the lucky winners of the 2009 NRMA Everyday Sporting Legends Program.
NRMA Motoring & Services and Rebel Sport teamed up for the first time last year to support sport in NSW and ACT communities with up to $150,000 in Rebel Sport gift cards up for grabs.

BASKETBALL would shoot through the roof in St Ives if there were more facilities, says Adam Hyman.
Hyman, 21, of Pymble, established community-based St Ives Basketball Club in January.
He said many more people would take up the game if there were more courts.
